Forever is a song about being so head over heels in love with someone that you can picture living the rest of your life with them. Its soulful melody and innocently sweet lyrics, at its purest form a flag in the sand, that announces your total and unconditional love, and celebrates that special connection in no uncertain words.

This is a solo project for Zeinab who enlisted the skills of Berlin based producer Magro to finish the track. This track is more focused on RnB/ Soul than previous releases, and roadmaps Zeinab’s tracks to be released later this year. Zeinab worked with another German artist (Lisa Tegtmeier) to create the contemporary single artwork.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind the song, the singer-songwriter said:

“Forever was written as a gift for my boyfriend. I was having major writers block and he asked me for a song for his Christmas present. He knew giving me a deadline would get me moving and it did. There was just one condition, it had to contain three words (orange, spicy, fluorescent). I don't think he truly believed I’d incorporate them into the song. I wasn’t expecting it to be released to the public but it was him that pushed me.”

“The song is about being so head over heels in love with someone that you can picture living the rest of your life with them. In the past I may have been reluctant to allow myself to think in these terms for fear of being hurt but this song is born out of a feeling of security, and in many ways is a confidently-vulnerable declaration of our love for each other. The joy that person brings you, makes you feel like no other way you’ve felt before. It’s my expression of love in the form of a song.

“I reached out to Magro (Berlin based producer and drummer) to collaborate on the song and sent him the song and my vision: what he created was pure magic.”
